Licensing controversy
In 2001, bill 24-0192 was passed to license naturopaths. The bill established the Virgin Islands Board of Naturopathic Physicians. However, according to a naturopathic student from Southwest College for Naturopathic Medicine, it seems that a naturopathic licensing board was never established. I could not any evidence that this board exists or that the profession of naturopathy is regulated in the Virgin Islands.
